One week after the BTCC season finished and after a gruelling couple of days training with the Team RAC fitness instructor in Wales, Colin teamed up with a friend to take part in the well-known Weston Beach Race on a quadbike. Unknown to many people, he raced quads as a teenager and along with his co-rider, he took the Honda bike to 133rd place overall in the quad and sidecar race and 18th in their class.
