Lafarge Cement Ireland join Team RAC's BTCC campaign
Colin Turkington and Team RAC are delighted to announce Lafarge Cement Ireland as a new sponsor for the remaining rounds of the 2006 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship campaign.
With Colin’s Irish roots and Lafarge’s understanding the benefits that the BTCC has to offer, it was only natural that the two should combine forces. The Lafarge logo will be visible on the Team RAC MG ZS touring car and the race overalls of Portadown based Colin Turkington.
Lafarge Cement Ireland is part of the Lafarge Group - a world leader in building materials with top-ranking positions in all four of its businesses: Cement, Aggregates & Concrete, Roofing and Gypsum.
Currently lying second overall in the drivers championship standings, Colin will be competing in the BTCC at Donington Park this weekend.
